Troubleshoot your Codllect setup

Check the most common COD method, fee wording, Thank You block, and email template issues.

Before you start

  • The Shopify store URL and the setup step that is affected.
  • Access to Codllect and the relevant Shopify settings page.

Steps

  1. Missing payment method: Open Shopify Settings → Payments, confirm the manual COD method is active, then return to Codllect and refresh the methods.
  2. Stale fee wording: Save the current fee label in Codllect. If the wording also appears in the order email, regenerate the merged full template and save it in Shopify.
  3. Thank You block not detected: Open Shopify Settings → Checkout → Customize, choose Thank you, confirm the Codllect block is in the order-summary area, save, and check detection again in Codllect.
  4. Email template validation: Copy the complete current order confirmation template from Shopify, paste it into Codllect, and generate a new merged full template. Never use only a snippet.
  5. Contact support: Send your store URL, the affected setup step or page, what you expected, what happened instead, and a non-sensitive screenshot. Do not send secrets or full customer records.

If you get stuck

  • Never send passwords, access tokens, payment information, or full customer records to support.
  • Use a non-sensitive screenshot only after checking that it contains no customer or account secrets.
